An entrepreneur, speaker, scholar and community advocate.


He is Senior Partner at Digital Network Group, an IT and Management Consulting firm, and President of Kinetic Potential, Inc., a mentoring and life development organization. Through his business and community alliances, Jim has helped numerous corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations in the areas of strategic planning, outsourcing, global product development, system integration and program turnarounds. His expertise spans the telecommunications, healthcare, finance and government sectors with such noteworthy organization as AT&T, Verizon, Geico, Bank of America, Commonwealth of Virginia, Social Security Agency and the Republic of Liberia. Jim is a dynamic and engaging motivational speaker and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others through his teaching, training and mentoring efforts. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and often provides project management training for early stage ventures and growth organizations. Jim conducts scholarly research in the area of capacity building for nonprofit organizations through the intelligent use of information technology. His academic background consists of a BA in Physics from Occidental College, MS in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the Wharton School of Management with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship. He is an active member of the Wharton DC Alumni Club, National Association of Black MBAs and Prince George’s County Technology Assistance Center. Jim is originally from Bridgeport, CT and currently resides in Upper Marlboro, MD with his daughter Naomi. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing squash, racquetball and he has recently taken up golf.
